Jamaal Hepher is a British-Sierra Leonean writer/director from London and over the last 4 years has been working on his feature film debut, 2 DAYS IN QUITO.

 

While living and working in Quito, Ecuador, Jamaal decided that it was the right time to make his first feature length film. He wrote, self funded, produced and directed the ambitious film about a young taxi driver desperately trying to carve out the promise of a future for himself and his family.

 

2 DAYS IN QUITO will be screened at film festivals throughout this year before securing a distribution deal.

 

Jamaal has written his second feature length screenplay, a psychological thriller set in the dark world of social media influencers. The project is currently in development.

He is also the Shadow Director on the new Disney+ series, 1000 BLOWS directed by Ashley Walters, which will be released in 2024.
